Willow Tate #3: Fire Works in the Hamptons
by Celia Jerome
DAW, $7.99, 320pp
Release Date: November 1, 2011

In the third Willow Tate urban fantasy we find Paumanok Harbor invaded by a mysterious otherworldly type of fire fly. Again, no one actually sees them clearly except Willow but someone has discovered that they can be used to start fires resulting in a spate of arson. Once again, the town expects Willow to solve the problem and solve it quickly before the fire flies bring unwanted attention to the town.

This time around Willow is aided by a “fireman” who can dampen flames simply with his presence and the town’s veterinarian. Toss in an egomaniacal science teacher determined to make his name with the new species and a tabloid reporter determined to out Willow , and the town full of psychics along with the usual sexual tension between Willow and two hunky men and we have yet another fun romp in the Hamptons .

This series get more fun with each entry. I cannot wait for the next entry. Highly recommended. ~~ Stephanie L Bannon
