How do you go to the bathroom in space?
All the answers to all the questions you have about living in space.
By William R. Pogue, astronaut
1999 revised edition, Tor Books, $12.99, 223pp
Release Date: August 30, 2011.

The author spent three months in space as the pilot of Skylab 4, so he writes with great authority. Instead of chapters, 247 questions are answered, followed by nine appendices. There are many NASA pictures, and cartoons by Sidney Harris, with a foreword by John Glenn. This is excellent coverage of Skylab and the space shuttle program, with a few final questions looking ahead to the International Space Station. Even though this reissue is a dozen years old, it is still a valuable resource for the basic details of how astronauts have to live in space right now. ~~ Mike Griffin (not the NASA guy)
