The characters are reasonably well-drawn as even Arik is not your everyday human. It is indeed a supernatural romance even if involves the biblical apocalypse. However, it combines a lot of action which adds to the hot, sexy mix.  Generally  an enthralling days read. ENJOY. ~~ Pan Allan.
