This is a sequel to The Black Hole Gang.

Three months after the Pennine Fusiliers vanished from the Somme (WWI) and found themselves on an alien planet, Corporal 'Only' Atkins and the Black Hole Gang are sent to find the Ivanhoe, the battalion's only tank. The Battalion is coming under attack by the aliens and the tank may be their only hope for victory. Fighting for their lives against mounting horrors, the men and their alien prisoner uncover a terrible secret. They must bring the find back to the base but their only hope for survival and a way home lies in the drug addicted crew of the Ivanhoe and its increasingly insane commander.

This is your basic space opera aimed at the YA market. The interesting part is the World War One tank battalion adapting and staying alive. If you have a tweenager, they'll enjoy. ~~ Pam Allan
