Dead Mann Walking
by Stefan Petruccha
Roc, $7.99, 342pp
Release Date: October 4, 2011

Dead Mann Walking is a Hessius Mann novel.

Hessius Mann is a dead former cop, executed for his wife's murder but later exonerated and brought back to Zombie –hood. To make a living, he has become a pulse-challenged PI.

When he is offered a lot of cash to find a missing Zombie he takes it but he begins to wonder when a few zombies are dead in his trail. Is his job to find someone or to find himself dead?

Hessius Mann is an interesting character, well-developed with an interesting psychology, The world building is excellent if gross. If you like zombie page turners, you will love this one. ~~ Pam Allan
