Live and Let Drood
by Simon R. Green

Release Date: June 5, 2012
This is the sixth book in Simon R. Green’s The Secret Histories series; the adventures of Edwin Drood who is part of the ancient Drood family that watches over the world to protect it from various magical and supernatural threats. Edwin’s field name is Shaman Bond, a parody of James Bond hence the titles of all the books being a play on the James Bond series.
In this installment, Eddie and Molly, a witch who hates the Drood family, return to find Drood Hall destroyed and lots of blood but no bodies. After some investigation they determine that the destroyed Drood Hall is from a different dimension than theirs but that still leaves them needing to find “their” Drood Hall. And while they search for the missing Droods someone is hunting them.
A wonderful installment in the series. They are all highly recommended and I can hardly wait for the next one. ~~ Stephanie L Bannon
