Percy Jackson & The Olympians Book Five:
The Last Olympian
by Rick Riordan
Hyperion, $17.99, 381pp
Release Date: January 25, 2011
The final battle at Mount Olympus will decide the future of Western Civilization. Percy will have to make a difficult choice in not being a hero in this war. Also, Percy will also have to decide about an offer he has to refuse but a promise to be fulfilled.

Be forewarned: Some scenes from the past four books will be back again in this book. Also, some parallels of human nature in The Iliad.

Overall the series is worth reading. There are still surprises in store. Also, a prophecy about the next coming series. Looking forward to it. Highly recommended to fans of Percy Jackson and/or Greek mythology with a modern twist. ~~ Jeffrey Lu
