Jane Yellowrock is a shapeshifter of unknown age who lives in New Orleans, works for a vampire and is friends with a witch. We have here nineteen stories of Jane and her early years as an investigator and vampire hunter. The stories take place before the series begins as well as filling in the gaps between books. The stories here show the growth of Jane and other characters as well as revealing some information I strongly suspect will be very important in future books.

While strongly recommended for fans of the series it is not a good place to first meet Jane and enter her world. ~~ Stephanie L Bannon
