The perfect gift for cat lovers who also enjoy SF, or who might hereby be induced to read SF, Cats in Space is an anthology of original stories that combine our fervent desire for space travel, with all the travails that entails, with our abiding affection for our clever, resourceful feline companions. Several of the tales are told from the cat’s own perspective, all are charming. The seven authors:  Beth Cato, Dantzel Cherry, C.L. Holland, Joy Kennedy-O’Neill, Jody Lynn Nye, Erika L. Satifka, and Leona R. Wisoker, clearly had a field day with this project.  And if you really want the fur to fly, in a good way, cue up some Leslie Fish cat-themed filk songs for background music. ~~ Chris R. Paige
