In the land of Mun , there is a freed male slave named Knute and Anne, a jailed villager. Comically, Knute is supposed to be "the replacement god" but is literally clueless. On the other hand, Anne is running away from her problems... Oh, by the way, there is a king with his beatnik Visigoth Death Horde who is hunting them down. Why? Well, there is this prophecy that the replacement god was supposed to destroy them...
