Counting, Colors & Cthulhu
by Jason Ciaramella
Illustrated by Joshua Janes
Kickstarter, $19.99, 24pp
Published: September 2021

A 24-page hardcover board book featuring digitally painted illustrations of Cthulhu, H.P., Hastur, Shoggoth, Deep Ones, the Black Goat and more creepy and colorful Lovecraftian monsters as you've never seen them before!

This is another wonderful storybook for little cultists from the C is for Cthulhu family.

Inspired by and including the character of H. P. Lovecraft, this book helps children count and identify colors. It has some interesting and sometimes creepy creatures, so children who love monsters will love the colorful characters in this book.

The artwork is vibrant and whimsical and it works well with the writing. Who can go wrong with "Three purple Shoggoths hungry for a bite"? (Cheese is the bite pictured with the Shoggoths.)

This is a book I'll gift to my grandchildren, who like strange and silly things as much as I do. ~~ Dee Astell
