This book is self-published by fantasy artist Gilead and it's well worth tracking him down to purchase a copy from him.

Gilead shows his rough sketches of live models while explaining all the things he changed to make the drawings pleasing to the eye. He includes a lot of sketches from start to finish. I'm a fan of Gilead's art and really enjoyed learning more about his creative process both in words and pictures.

He even includes details about how Ned the Barbarian came into being and why Monday is bun day. Being a Neddist, I appreciate his inclusion into the book.

If you are a fan of Gilead's or even just like fantasy art, then this book is for you.
