Lightbringer

Release Date: October 14, 2011

This is erotic urban fantasy at its best: characters with meat on their bones, whose conflicts feel authentic, not merely contrived; a storyline involving fallen angels, renegades, and angels on active duty among mortals, and one mortal, Cassie, who has a destiny significant enough to warrant divine intervention.

Cassie is a psychic, so when she makes contact with Jared Price, one of those fallen angels, she senses … a wingspan, for starters, and Celestial longing for a lost paradise. Both feel a powerful attraction to each other, and eventually that mutual attraction proves stronger than all their reservations.

A renegade angel, Aelziroth, is determined to destroy Cassie, but he intends to have as much diabolical fun doing so as he can contrive. Utterly ruthless, and with a perversely logical perspective, Aelziroth and his human puppets cut a swath of destruction, always with Cassie in their sights. It’s gratifying that some of the mortals hold their own in the angel versus human struggles.

If you like erotica, and especially if you also liked the film Dogma, this is a book for you. ~~ Chris R. Paige, Tucson , AZ.
