Long time Phoenix area fan, Stephanie is currently the Corporate Treasurer and is a past President of
WesternSFA.
A native Texan, Stephanie lived in Colorado, Montana and the Philippines before landing in Phoenix in 1981. In 1988 she discovered fandom at the Phoenix Westercon and has been involved ever since. Currently she is active in WesternSFA as the Corporate Treasurer and co-banker for CoKoCon
Past fannish positions have included newsletter editor for the SouthWest Costumers Guild
and Kingdom Chronicler for the Kingdom of Atenveldt (SCA).
For the Central Arizona Speculative Fiction Society (CASFS) Stephanie held either a staff or committee position on every CopperCon from 1998 to 2011 and was Chair of CopperCon 21 in addition to being the CASFS Corporate Treasurer from 2001 to 2011 and a CASFS board member before that. She was editor of ConNotations, CASFS’ Bi-Monthly newsletter from 1998 to 2011 and banker for CopperCon 28, 30 and 31 as well as banker for CASFS' game conventions HexaCon 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16. For the now dissolved AniZona Anime Convention Inc, she was Corporate Treasurer as well as Banker for AniZona 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Additionally she has held the positions of volunteer coordinator, hotel liaison, green room coordinator, security/operations coordinator, staff lounge coordinator, web site manager and at-con programming coordinator. She is a founding member of WesternSFA and a veteran of several Westercon bids. Currently she is co-banker of WesternSFA's annual convention, CoKoCon
In mundane life she lives with her husband, Craig L Dyer, surrounded by books (1000s), cats, dogs, birds, turtles, fish and rabbits in a roomy, though sometimes chaotic home where friends are always welcome to stop by.
