It is with deep regret that WesternSFA must announce that there will not be a RandomCon in 2011.

While we understand the desire of Arizona gamers to have a convention of their own we cannot continue to sustain the financial loss that the two RandomCon s have generated. We were particularly discouraged that the 2010 event actually lost more than 2009 and the combined $8000 loss is more than we can continue to justify.

We wish to thank the local AZ Game groups that helped with both RandomCon 2009 and 2010 - The Shield, the AZ MiB, The Guise Knights, SAGA, and North Valley Gamers Group. Perhaps we can revive RandomCon at some point in the future when economic times are better
