Convention Running Resources

ART ALLEY

Needs:

Computer and email access Organizational skills Communication skills People skills Money handling skills Patience Time Needed Pre-Con - 1-2 hours weekly Time Needed At Con - Full Time


PRE-CON

Determines layout for Artist Alley area - turns in to Hotel Liaison Handles requests for space Co-ordinates with Banker to determine artist alley participants are convention members and have paid for their space Collects signed paperwork from all artist alley participants Co-ordinates with Industry committee person for needed prizes, ribbons, awards, certificates, etc


AT-CON

Is present during Artist Alley set up to assign tables Determines if art work etc is appropriate Is available to handle any problems during the convention Is present during opening and closing each day Is present during final tear down on Sunday


POST-CON

Provides report of Artist Alley participants with contact info for the organization's records Turns over all signed contracts to Banker
