INDUSTRY LIAISON


Needs:

Computer and email access
Organizational skills
Communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Willing to talk to people on the phone
People skills
Money handling skills
Patience
Time Needed Pre-Con - 1-3 hours weekly
Time Needed At-Con - 2-4 hours daily


OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION

Industry is the primary point of contact between the convention and all companies.



PRE-CON

Industry makes the first contact with companies for guests.
Industry contacts companies for sponsorship
Industry contacts all companies for prizes
Industry coordinates all prizes for all areas. This means contacting each committee person to ascertain their prizes needs and keeping those people informed as prizes are acquired for their area.
Industry coordinates with the Banker for all Sponsor needs and provisions
Industry provides signed Sponsor contracts to the Banker
Industry coordinates with the Dealer Room for available “free” Sponsor booths
Industry coordinates with Hotel Liaison and Banker for number of Sponsors attending Guest Dinner
Industry coordinates with any other committee area involved with Sponsor needs



AT-CON

Contacts all sponsors, etc at con to “meet and greet”
Is present in dealer room for Sponsor set up


POST-CON

Creates or updates Industry database
